At the beginning in the 30s there were pocket watches. Then watches with mechanical movements. In the '70s, electronic watches were manufactured, but they've let it be again. Poljot

The factory started in 1930 with industrial production. The present name POLJOT means "flight" and refers to Yuri Gagarin's first manned space flight in 1961 with a Russian watch on the wrist. For this reason the "First Moscow Watch Factory" was renamed.

Vostok

...means "east". Since the 1940s military watches have been manufactured there. The famous "Amphibia" is a diving watch, water resistant to 200 meters. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, private citizens can buy these famous watches.
